Who we are
At Northwell Health, our quality care is continually recognized among the nation’s best. Healthgrades has named many of our hospitals—including Lenox Hill Hospital, the Sandra Atlas Bass Heart Hospital at North Shore University Hospital, South Shore University Hospital and Staten Island University Hospital—as among the top in the nation for heart care, cardiac surgery and coronary intervention.
For the past 10 years, we have consistently ranked among the best in New York state, too. In doing so, we haven’t just raised our standard, we’ve raised the standard of health care. From preventive cardiology to heart transplantation and everything in between, you can rest assured that when you’re with us, your heart is in the best hands.
What sets us apart
Our multidisciplinary team focuses on delivering superior results through evidence-based treatments, quality improvement and personalized care. We also invest in the future of cardiovascular care—and, most importantly, your future.
All of our patient care programs are backed by research. We collaborate with scientists at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research on cardiovascular clinical trials. Our investigators, many of whom have decades of research experience, are respected within the academic community and are continually approached to participate in industry-sponsored, multicenter clinical trials featuring the latest technologies for treatment.
